About these terms
These Terms & Conditions apply to your use of the DissertationAssist website and the academic support you request through it. Read them together with our Privacy Policy and Cancellation & Refund Policy. The policies explain different parts of the same relationship: how you use the service, how information is handled, and how a cancellation or concern is reviewed.
By using the website or requesting services, you agree to follow these terms. If something is unclear, contact support@dissertationassist.com before placing an order. A written explanation is more useful than an assumption, particularly where your project has a specific deadline or assessment requirement.
Who may use the service
You must be older than 13 to use our services. Where you need permission from a parent or guardian to enter into an agreement or make a payment, obtain that permission before proceeding. Our academic support is intended for people who can provide an accurate brief and understand the responsibilities associated with their own work.
Use your own contact details, or details you have permission to use. Keep your account credentials private and let support know if a request or message appears to have been sent without your permission.
Academic support and responsible use
DissertationAssist provides support with research planning, writing, editing, proofreading and related academic tasks. Examples, explanations and written materials should help you understand a subject, develop your approach and improve your own work. You remain responsible for checking your institution’s academic integrity rules and using any support in a way those rules allow.
A service cannot determine your grade or your supervisor’s decision. Read the material carefully, check references and factual statements, and ask about anything you do not understand. Do not present someone else’s work as your own or use support to misrepresent authorship, research participation or assessment performance.
Your brief and supporting documents
Provide the topic, required length, deadline, academic level, referencing style, marking guidance and other instructions relevant to your request. If a document or source is essential, identify it clearly. Let us know which version of your brief is current when you upload revised instructions.
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you send and for having permission to share any files. Remove unnecessary personal information, participant identifiers, confidential employer data and passwords. A change in topic, length, scope or deadline may require a separate review of the service, price and delivery arrangements; please ask support before assuming that a change has been accepted.
Enquiries, quotations and payments
An enquiry tells us what you need; it is an opportunity to discuss the request. Before making a payment, check the confirmed scope, price, delivery arrangements and any agreed exclusions. Keep the relevant confirmation and payment reference so you can identify the request when contacting support.
Submitting a form does not, by itself, show that a payment has been completed or that a particular delivery time has been agreed. If you are uncertain about the status of a request, contact us using its reference rather than submitting multiple versions. Send payment questions to support and never email a full card number, security code or banking password.
Deadlines and communication
Tell us your actual deadline and any earlier date needed for your own review. Delivery arrangements should be understood in the context of the agreed brief and the information available to complete it. Prompt replies to questions about missing instructions or documents help avoid uncertainty.
If your institution changes the deadline or your requirements change, notify support as soon as possible. Keep important instructions in writing so both sides can refer to the same details. If you believe a delivery commitment has not been met, raise the issue with the relevant reference and agreed timing for review.
Editing and proofreading requests
These terms allow up to two rounds of correction where errors are identified in the delivered material. Explain the issue clearly and refer to the original brief, the relevant passage and any supporting feedback. A specific list of corrections is easier to review than several separate messages with overlapping instructions.
The correction option concerns errors in the agreed work. New research questions, extra chapters, a different topic or additional requirements need to be discussed separately. After the two correction rounds, any further editing should be agreed with support. If your concern cannot be resolved through correction, consult the cancellation and refund policy and contact us with the full details.
Website materials and intellectual property
The DissertationAssist name, logo and website materials belong to their respective rights holders. Do not copy the name or logo, reproduce site content for commercial use, or suggest an affiliation that has not been authorised. Viewing a public page does not transfer ownership of its content.
Respect the rights attached to documents, sources, software and research materials you provide or use. Where a source needs attribution, include an appropriate reference. Any agreed rights concerning a particular service or deliverable should be clarified in the order discussion rather than assumed from the availability of website examples.
Use of the website
Use the website lawfully and respectfully. Do not attempt to access another customer’s information, interfere with forms or accounts, upload malicious files, or send misleading or abusive communications. Only upload files connected with a genuine academic support request.
Website information may occasionally contain errors or become outdated. If you notice an inaccurate page, broken link or technical problem, let support know which page is affected. External websites linked from our content have their own terms and policies, and you should review them before sharing information or purchasing a service there.
Policy changes and questions
We may update these terms when our services or website arrangements change. Review the terms when starting a new request, and keep the written service agreement for an existing order. If an update creates uncertainty about an ongoing request, ask support for clarification.
Technical interruptions outside our control may affect access to the website; contact support if you cannot use an expected function. Nothing in these terms is intended to remove rights that cannot lawfully be excluded. For a service concern, start by sending your reference, the relevant agreement and a clear explanation to support@dissertationassist.com.
